１８日（水）よりメディアルームにて、放課後入中塾が行われています。今回も、入善中学校に縁のある先生方が来校くださっています。３学年の学年末考査は本日で終わりましたが、１・２年生の学年末考査に向けて来週も行われます。

是非たくさんの生徒に、入中塾で学んでほしいと思います。

入善町木根出身の久才晶子（きゅうさい　あきこ）様より、入善町名誉町民の前田常作氏の作品、「観想マンダラ図シリーズ『銀河瞑想』」を寄贈いただきました。

作品は、生徒たちがよく通る校長室前廊下に掲示しました。入善中学校に来校された際は、是非ご鑑賞ください。

本日２月１８日（水）から２０日（金）まで、３年生の学年末考査を行います。

中学校３年間、義務教育９年間の学習総仕上げです。３年生の皆さん、体調に気をつけてがんばってください。

16日（月）入善町役場において、カンボジア王国交流使節団の報告会が行われました。報告会はオンラインでカンボジアとつなぎ、お世話になった山口のり子さんも参加くださいました。

この派遣事業に参加した皆さんは、カンボジアに3泊滞在しました。その中で、カンボジアの遺跡や内戦の爪痕から歴史や平和の尊さ、今のカンボジアの生活やカンボジアの学校、カンボジアにある日本語学校での生徒たちとの交流において五感で感じ取ったことを報告していました。「現地の人たちの生活を見て、日本でも取り入れたいことは何ですか」という問いに、「カンボジアの人たちは笑顔で接してくれたから、自分も笑顔で接して和やかな雰囲気を作りたい」「カンボジアでは、心配するよりもやってみると聞いた。上手くいかなくても『まぁ、いっかの精神』で、楽観的に進んでいけばいいと学んだ。」「町を歩くカンボジアの人たちは、前を見てにこにこ歩いていた。日本では、歩きスマホや下を向いている人が多い。私は、人と接するときには前を向いて接していきたい。」と、答えていました。また、「カンボジアに行く前に心配だったことは何ですか。」と言う問いに、「英語で話せるか心配だったが、英語だけでなく伝えたいという思いが大切だと思った。」「初対面の人と話すことが苦手なので心配だったが、カンボジアの皆さんが、笑顔で接してくださったので話しやすかった。」「空爆があったと聞いて少し怖かったけれど、現地では安全に活動できたので安心して過ごすことができた。」と、答えていました。

この派遣事業に参加し、大きく成長したことを感じた報告会でした。参加した皆さんには、人生観が変わるような貴重な体験をさせていただいたことに感謝するとともに、これから多くの人にカンボジア王国の素晴らしさを伝えてほしいと思います。

新生徒会執行部による３年生への激励メッセージが、生徒玄関に掲示されました。

受検当日は、誰にも頼ることができません。しかし、受検に立ち向かっている今は、互いに励まし合い、支え合いながら苦しい時期を乗り越えることができるよう頑張っています。

一方、２年生、１年生は、将来の自分自身を３年生の姿に投影して見ており、感染症の防止対策に努めるなど、３年生のためにできることに取り組んでいます。正に受検勉強は入中生全員による団体戦です。

３年生全員が希望する進路先に進むことができるよう、「チーム入中」で頑張っていきましょう。

2月3日(火)から、寺林寛美先生を特別非常勤講師としてお招きし、音楽科の授業において「箏」の指導をしていただきました。生徒たちは譜面を見ながら教え合い、楽しそうに箏を奏でていました。

本日、１・２年生は、実力テストを行っています。

今まで学んできたことが身に付いているか、実力を確認するテストです。２年生は来年の私立一般入試を、１年生は再来年をイメージして取り組みます。テストは、終わった後も大切です。できたところ、できなかったところを確認して実力アップにつなげてほしいと思います。１日テストで大変ですが、がんばりましょう。

R7 心のカレンダー２月

昨日に引き続き、3年生の英語の授業「ウェブサイトで海外の人に入中（入善中学校）の魅力を発信しよう（Let’s introduce our school to the world!）」で作成した英作文をご紹介します。

昨日の3年A組に続き、第2回目の本日は、3年B組の作品です。 生徒たちが自分たちの言葉で伝えた学校の魅力を、ぜひご覧ください。

School Trip

We have a school trip in May. Third grade students learn about other prefectures. For example , we went to Kansai this year. Many students grow through this event. It’s a wonderful experience. We really look forward to this event.

Newzen Fes. (School Festival)

Last year, we held “Newzen Fes.” We introduced Nyuzen Town to a lot of people. We held “Nyuchu Show Time”. We can show other students ourselves. I think that it will become a traditional school event in Nyuzen Junior High School.

Lecture

Every year, we have a lecture in December. Famous people come to Cosmo Hall. They tell us about their lives. For example, Hayashiya Taihei came last year. He is a famous Rakugo storyteller. His speech was interesting.

Jump Rope Tournament

We have a jump rope tournament in April. It’s an inter-class jump rope competition. We practice for about two weeks. No one knows who will win. Maybe first graders can beat third graders. It is so exciting. Also, this event deepens our bonds. So it is a good event for new classes.

Chorus Contest

We have a chorus contest in October. We sing songs. We compete for the excellence award. In 2025, 3B won the top prize. I was so happy because I was the pianist in 3B. Our chorus contest is impressive. You should listen carefully to the beautiful voices.

Field Day

We have a field day in September. We enjoy relays, tug-of-war, and so on. The main event is the cheer performance. Also, this year we had a scavenger hunt. We really enjoy this event. We look forward to Field Day. Why don’t you come to Field Day?

Work Experience

Every year, we have work experience in October. It lasts for three days. We experience the job of the store staff there. It is hard, but the staff teach us kindly. We can do things that we can’t usually do.

Farewell Party for Third Graders

Every year, we have a farewell party for third graders in March. We have a band performance. The main event is the first and second grade students’ dramas. They are so funny. You will get a six-pack from laughing. Why don’t you join us?

Graduation Ceremony

We have a graduation ceremony in March. This ceremony is very formal in Japan. We sing a song and listen to guests’ and teachers’ speeches. And graduates receive their diplomas. Some people are moved by the farewell address and valedictorian address. Also, students practice for the ceremony for about one month. Because of that, our actions and posture are beautiful. The ceremony will be one of our best junior high school memories. I hope we can see beautiful cherry blossoms at this year’s graduation ceremony.

School Festival

Every year, we have a school festival in November. We do several kinds of activities. The best event is the performances by students. Many people enjoy watching them and joining other events. It is fun and exciting for us. So we are looking forward to it every year. Why don’t you join us?

Jump Rope Tournament

We have a jump rope tournament in April. All of our classmates enjoy the inter-class jump rope competition. We can make new friends through this event. I think it is a great event to build unity. We can begin the new semester happily by winning the tournament. We really enjoy this event.
